Wappa Wappa Doo Dar

Well exams are finally over for another year, I had my last one on Friday…happy to finish early for a change this year. One was alright, though the other 2 kind of sucked balls. Was glad to be able to celebrate end of exams in a rather…excessive fashion. Was Shero’s birthday on Friday so there was a gathering at his place. I must’ve surely lost at least a semester worth of learning…good times.

In the process of finding work experience for the break at the moment (12 weeks compulsory before graduation), which has been quite a struggle. It’s really all about who you know and not what you know that gets you a job. Had an interview with one company last week which went quite well, but I’m doubting they’ll give me a position as they were more so looking for graduates. This coming week I have an interview with a company called Worsley Alumina, a joint venture with BHP Billiton. They have a large refinery and mine site down in Collie, which is also where the interview is unfortunately. Quite annoying…especially if I don’t end up getting a job there!

Can hardly believe my brother has now finished medicine, nice fucking effort dude. He’s got just under a weeks worth of Med parties to go to and then a week in Coral Bay of more shenanigans. My Dad is taking us both out to dinner for this thing he’s been planning for like 4 years, to celebrate the end of our degrees (ok yeh, I didn’t quite make it =P). Not sure where we’re going, but it should be pretty huge - we’re opening this $400 bottle of Grange he’s been saving for the past 10 years or something.

Well that’ll about do it for me, time to get boozey. I’m keen to get some serious partying in before I start working so let me know what’s going on people. I trust everyone is going to Sub Culture?

Ever wondered what a high dose of acid is like?

O rly?

Ya rly.
