*Cough* *Ack* Bang
That's the sound of my lung butter hitting the wall at Mach 2. Can you believe I got sick on the way here?!?! FFS! Seems to be settling down now though, and as such I thought it was time to give some company to that lonely blog of Mez's.
But with what? I didn't do much in the past few days because of the sickness... Did watch the Incredibles with Papa G, he's in town to catch cruise number 12 of his adult life o_O. I reckon we should all go on one at some point. Seriously, they're freaking awesome. The movie was actually pretty good: Samuel L Jackson (I think) does the voice of Frozone, and he's great in it, for the relatively supportive role he plays. It wasn't laugh out loud, but I found it amusing. I like how they talk about their superhero-ing in the same way we'd talk about going to work or uni, (which is about right, considering it is their work). But they stuff they talk about is so obviosuly unusual, so when they talk about it in such a flippant manner, it's just funny. If you see it, you'll know what I mean. Plus, Mirage had white hair. Noice (and no, I don't mean whispy grey Neal's Oma hair. More like Cordelia in Angel).
I love the shopping in Sydney. Already, I've increased by CD collection by 5 titles (one's a 6 disc set, and another's a 2 disc), for the grand total of $40, plus a copy of Swingers on DVD for $10. Myer were having 50% off Mossimo sunglasses, but, unf. common sense won through and I decided not to buy some as they did not have any non-batty designs in stock. Just take me to the clothes section...
In other news, that earthquake off the coast of Asia's pretty shit. 8.9 on the Richter, which is bloody huge, apparently. I seem to recall hearing about two other large tremours in the past two weeks in other areas... as Morse pointed out, doomsayers, prophets and religious types will try to latch onto it, but he reckons we're about due for such quakes. Does make you wonder though... My condolences to them (the people affected, not the doomsayers and co.)
